Das Rham-Plateau überragt stolz drei Seiten des Alzette-Tals und bietet einen herrlichen Blick auf die Altstadt von Luxemburg. Es ist seit dem 15. Jahrhundert ein fester Bestandteil der Luxemburger Befestigungsanlagen und wurde später von Vauban um vier imposante Kasernen erweitert, die heute als moderne und komfortable Seniorenwohnungen genutzt werden. Je suis vraiment déçue du tour en petit train. Les paysages sont magnifiques et l’ambiance est sympathique mais personne ne nous a fourni les écouteurs nécessaires pour écouter les faits historiques. Nous nous sommes rendus compte une fois en route la nécessité de les avoir il était dès lors impossible de demander cette fourniture à quelqu’un….

Schöne Erfahrung, sehr nett unterhaltsam und kurzweilig gestaltet. Auch für Kinder gut verständlich. Eine sehr schöne Strecke. Die Bahn fährt immer langsam sodass gut rausgeschaut werden kann, auch für schnelle Fotos findet man Zeit.

Le tracé n'est pas très représentatif de la vieille ville.
Les explications historiques sont très imprécises et incomplètes. Elles ne semblaient pas trop synchronisées avec le parcours.
Je ne le recommanderais pas et préfère faire le parcours a pied avec un guide papier.

Wir haben bereits im März 8 Tickets gebucht. Als wir mit unserer Tour starten wollten, war die Bahn bereits voll. Wir konnten dann eine Stunde später fahren.

This city train have a nice road over the old part of Luxembourg with a nice audio in many languages.
Overall your experience will depend on who will be with you (each wagon have about 4 to 5 line of 4 people : it was already tight with only 3 people because there is not much leg space) because the train do NOT stop so it quite complicated to take pictures if the people next to you or in front of you don't behave... Yes i had the case and it was very frustrating... I had better pictures by just walking around about 50-150m and it was free...
Also you have to be aware that if you buy online like i did, you do NOT get a ticket but only a reservation ticket. Which means you must stop by the physical shop close to the train start to get a ticket. Which also means you better get there in advance because even though i was there 10min in advance they were selling the last available places and were about to sell our places to some other people so you are warned !

It was very informative Regarding the history of Luxembourg, I enjoyed this little train tour. I thought we would have gone to Kirchberg, though. But I recommend it.

Did not get a better place to seat in the train even with a valid ticket and advance booking. Shame that such a rich country is also doing this things with the tourists. Walk around the old city rather than taking this train. The driver did not even bother to give me headphones or to check them. Cheap service!

We would definitely recommend this 45 min. ride aboard a cute little 3 car train on on wheels (each seat row of up to 4 people has its own door/unit). It was a relaxing, slow paced (about 15mph) trip thru various historical spots with audio via headset in many languages that explains various interesting facts like a story telling. Picked up and dropped off at same spot (easy to locate).

The driver was lovely, such a happy person who clearly takes joy in his work.
Great way to relax and go down to the old town without having to walk. The ride also showed an elevator, hallelujah, that we didn’t know was there! Definitely recommend.

Nous avions réservé nos billets à l’avance sur internet afin de faciliter notre visite et éviter l’attente sur place. Malheureusement, cela n’a servi à rien. Nous avons attendu plus de 40 minutes avec 4 enfants car le train était complet. De nombreuses personnes, pourtant arrivées avec plusieurs heures de retard par rapport à leur horaire initial, ont été autorisées à monter à bord… alors qu’apparemment, il n’y avait plus de place pour nous.
Au bout d’un moment, nous avons demandé un remboursement, qui nous a été refusé sous prétexte que nos billets avaient été pris en ligne.
Je déconseille vivement cette activité : un manque total d’organisation et de considération des visiteurs. Cela laisse un très mauvais souvenir. À fuir.

Als Tagestourist bekommt man relativ einfach einen umfassenden Überblick von Luxemburg Stadt. Buchung über Internet war einfach und unkompliziert. Empfehlenswert für jeden, der sich einen ersten Eindruck, auch geschichtlich, über die Stadt machen möchte.

Wir haben diese Fahrt als Gruppe mit 9 Personen gemacht und alle haben die selbe Meinung zu dieser Fahrt. Zuwenig Informationen über die Stadt, zu viel einschläfernde Musik, gefühlt mehr als Informationen. Oft wusste man nicht über was gerade informiert wurde. Die meisten unserer Gruppe und wie ich gesehen habe auch andere Personen, hatten schon nach ca. 15 Minuten, die Kopfhörer beiseite gelegt.
Fazit von unserer Gruppe: Sehr ausbaufähig.

Der Zug hat eine tolle Geschwindigkeit, so dass man ausreichend Zeit hat alles zu sehen und zu hören. Geschichtliche Hintergrungerzählungen sind sehr interressant, unsere Kinder waren begeistert.
Buchung war einfach online, eine Stunde vor Fahrtbeginn, zu tätigen.
Für Familien zu empfehlen.

erstaunt von der guten Bewertung sollte ich auf die Abbuchung von meiner Kreditkarte dieser ... warten, aber wieder zu Hause sind die Erinnerungen noch frisch und die Enttäuschung nicht mehr so stark, dass diese meine Bewertung verzerrt.
ca. eine Stunde vor Abfahrt waren wir im Stadtteil, in dem dieser City Train losfährt. Wir haben uns durchgefragt, wo der Startpunkt für dieses Ding ist. Da die meisten Luxenburger noch nie von einer City Train gehört haben, einige wenige diesen City Train schon einmal gesehen haben, waren wir erst kurz vor Abfahrt am Startpunkt. Zuerst sind wir von dem "Lokführer" ausgezählt worden, dass wir zu spät sind, in den AGB steht doch eindeutig, dass man min. 15 Minuten vor Abfahrt ..., und er keinen Platz bzw. keine Tickets mehr hat. Als ich ihm dann die Buchungsbestätigung gezeigt habe, hatte er "nur" noch keinen Platz mehr. Passagiere, die das vermutlich gehört haben, sagten etwas zu ihm und sind von drei Bänken im Wagen auf zwei Bänke zusammen gerückt, sodass wir vier genügend Platz hatten. Dann ist er losgefahren und ohne das interessante Höhrspiel, wäre diese ca. 40 Minuten Rundfahrt, 30 Minuten Hauswände, der schmalen Gassen, durch die das Gespann gerade noch durch kommt, angucken gewesen. Super ambiance, on a eu la change d'avoir le bus rien que pour nous. Attention l'hiver ce n'est pas le train ouvert mais un mini-bus. Cela ne nous a pas empêché de passer un excellent moment. Surtout à la fin quand le bus est devenu décapotable et qu'on a écouté de la musique. Entre découverte culturel et fun, nous avons passé un excellent moment. Merci encore à notre super driver !

Beautiful way to see luxembourg town in 45 minutes. I expected to have stays of 5 minutes in some stations for a little photosession. But anyway I highly recommend!

It was fun while it lasted. Nowhere near the 40 minutes as stated, we were in the train for about 25 minutes. Definitely not enough for the price charged.

It is good for people traveling with kids or who can't walk. The train doesn't stop anywhere in the old town, which is not a good option for sightseeing.

Interesting little tour covering the outside of the city center, not a tour of the city which is confusing since the title is City Train!.
The recording is very hard to follow since the music is so loud and the voices are low making it difficult to understand.. The headset kept cutting out because the connection point is not sucure. They really should record a new version of the tour, eliminate the music and add interesting stories about what we are seeing. It was supposed to be 45 minutes, and was shorter.

Personnel sympathique. Circuit peu intéressant et impossibilité de prendre des photos correctes car arrêts fréquents à des endroits peu touristiques (Dépôts Microsoft ???) ou routes secouant très fort les wagons ! 2 écouteurs sur 6 ne fonctionnaient pas. Le tour en car est à conseiller pour éviter l'excès de chocs.

The route with a „deep dive“ into the lower parts of the city, quite spectacular to drive on steep narrow streets.
The audioguide was nicely set as a dialogue between an old man and a young girl, but too many and too long parts filled with music or „battle field sounds“ e.g. instead of information. Also the sound quality for the music was too low, it was rather an unpleasant experience for my ears all together.

A bad experience.
On August 28th we made a reservation for September 15th at 10:30 a.m., made and paid for online. We were passing through Luxembourg and wanted to get an idea of the city before going to the airport.
We showed up at 10:15 a.m. and waited without the train showing up. At 10:45 a.m., seeing that there was no one there, we decided to take the tour on a bus from the same company, much more expensive and without an audio guide in Spanish.
To our surprise, at the end of the tour we saw that
the train was running. I don't know what time the one we hired left, but we felt totally cheated and it also cost us more and without being able to hear the explanations in Spanish.
As you can understand, we are not going to recommend it to anyone. To avoid finding out anything, €29 for the "ghost" train

The experience was very good with the exception of 2 points: the audio quality in general could be better. We were a group of 8 people where 4 of us sat in the middle row of the 2nd car. There the audio stopped completely after some stations. The staff was awared of as this occurred before… People have not been warnes that this could happen. It should be repaired before the next ride!

Een Touriste deen sech guernet auskennt kritt dann guernet eis schein Staat zegesinn wei en et eigentlech misst... och ganz zum schluss um Arret vum Ziichelchen huet den Chauffer desen einfach ausgeschalt an den Audioguide mat. Am Audioguide waren se awer grad am gaangen den Huelen Zant ze erklären. Erklärung blouw dun halt aus. Eis Kanner hun et zwar flott fonnt, mer als Elteren waren awer e bessen enttäuscht. Vleit wier et eng Meiglechkeet dat den Chauffeur den Audioguide mat lauschtert vir eben ontime bei den Gebailechkeeten zesinn...

El tren da mucho traqueteo y la verdad que es incómodo recorrer las calles de Luxemburgo en el.
Si lo cogéis a mediodia, tarde, no recomendamos que os pongáis en las primeras vagonetas da el sol y es un calvario.
Experiencia buena, aunque calidad, no se....vale caro para lo que de ve y los baches que hay....

Petit tour en train agréable, permet de voir les extérieurs de la ville, ce qui est assez difficile à faire à pied.
Cependant, on nous a informé que le trajet dure 45 minutes, pour 14.50 euros par personne, en fait il ne dure que 35 minutes.

Der City Train bzw die Haltestelle lag zentral ließ sich gut finden übers Navigationsgerät, man konnte vor Ort oder online Tickets buchen. Der Zug fuhr halbstündig, und die Tour war nicht zu lang und nicht zu kurz , eine schöne angenehme Fahrt für groß und klein !

Headphones didn't work in our compartment of the train. As i bought the tickets online, they couldn't refund me, people who bought them there, got the money back. Really not cool at all, as we were 5 people.

We had a great time all in all but found it strange how the audio guide would say from time to time this or that was a nice spot to stop off and have a coffee or take in the view while the driver did not stop even once nor mentioned the possibility of getting off for a break and catching the next team. If I’m not wrong this was actually also mentioned on your website.

I booked 1 week in advance to be sure to have ticket at 11.30, but when I got there the train was already full. What is exactly the meaning of a reservation for you ????? I had the take the following ride and then I realised there is no Italian available and they anyway the speaking is not always aligned with where you are. There is definitely place for improvement!!!!

First of all I need to mention that on this day it was raining a lot so for that it was good to sit in the train. I think it's more fun for children as the narrator is also talking with a child about the things to see during the train ride. For us it wasn't such a special experience.

The train itself was cute and the views really were great! Unfortunately though, the audio recording is not great quality, pacing is completely off so it's difficult to actually process any information you're learning, and the rest is really cheesy/childish. Fun for families I suppose, but even then, 15€/person is quite steep for what it is! I hope it improves so I can try again one day.

The train was mostly a great experience. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. Our seats were comfortable except it got pretty warm inside the car. There was no cooling capability other than the windows were open and in July in the afternoon my teenager was overheating and started to feel sick. The audio portion was entertaining and informative. With the commentary style being very engaging in the English version. I can't speak for any other languages. Which there was six others, I believe.

Nachdem wir nur 1 Tag in Lux verbracht haben wählten wir diesen netten City Train für einen schnellen Überblick. Die Fahrt war wie erwartet recht nett und man hat einiges an Infos bekommen um sich nochmal eigenständig auf Tour zu begeben. Sternabzug gibt es für die schlechte Qualität der immer wieder unterbrochenen Audiobegleitung via Kopfhörer. Schade! Nach einer knappen dreiviertel Stunde waren wir wieder am Startpunkt.

Die Fahrt selbst und die Route gefiel mir, die geschichtliches Begleitinformationen sind recht oberflächlich, eher auf ausländische Tagesgäste zugeschnitten, die örtliche Präzision der begleitenden Routenbeschreibung müsste zielgenauer getaktet sein.
Keine Probleme bei der Buchung.
Nichtluxemburgern würde ich das Angebot - gegebenenfalls vor einer geführten Stadtbesichtigung - empfehlen.

The ride was good. Not too long and not too short, but longer then others a experienced.
It was nice to take a ride after walking so much the day before. It also helped me decide how to proceed with my travel - which areas to visit and explore and which not.
I also liked the audio guide, but noticed that not everyone used it, I think it adds a lot for the experience.

Der Zug hat von Anfang bis Ende Spaß gemacht. Auch bei etwas schlechten Wetter sieht und hört man auf sehr unterhaltsame Weise extrem viel über Stadt und Bewohner gestern und heute. Ein Muss zur Orientierung, dann kann man gerne nochmal zu Fuß dahin wo man möchte. Jederzeit

Best leuk om met dit treintje door Luxemburg stad te rijden. Je komt zo op plekken waar je niet zelf heen loopt. Bij de vertrekplaats waren oordopjes verkrijgbaar, daarmee kom je een audiotour starten in het treintje. Taal naar keuze. Dit geeft een meerwaarde aan de rit.

The train is cute, and the narration was good for the journey and history. However, we had purchased tickets for 1330 the day prior, and on the day off were told that due to a scheduled major race, police had closed the routes and it was not available at the time. We had to stand in the temperatures of 2 degrees in the wind, to wait for the train, as we were not given a time that the train would be able to resume. The tickets should not have been sold to us at that time, and clear communications should have been offered by the tour company to let us find a warm place and return at a designated time.

Agréable tour qui offre une bonne vue d'ensemble des lieux importants de la haute et de la basse ville. Le guide-conducteur du train est vraiment sympathique et patient. Cette visite est peu coûteuse et bien agréable (ne pas hésiter si vous avez des enfants, ils vont aimer). Il est possible d'entendre l'audio-guide avec les écouteurs (fournis) dans plus d'une langue de notre choix (anglais, français, allemand...). Je recommande si vous ne savez pas par où commencer!

Thoroughly enjoyed our train trip around the old areas of the city. Very informative commentary. We went to areas which we would not have discovered and some that we would not have walked around.

Worth every second. The story is nice and the places are worth the view from the train, as accessing them by walk would take too much time. Nevertheless, the train has to do a lot of hard breaking which throws you into the seat in front of you. I am 5 ft 11 or 180 cm, the seats are not big enough for the leg room.

What I didn't like is, the tour audio was not in sync with the places it was visiting & describing. Pls be careful if you have any back injuries, sometimes the brakes applied by the vehicle is not smooth & gives a jerk.

The tour lasted about 40 minutes. It was quite interesting and informative. The train tour was perfect to explore the old town on a rainy day. Thanks for the lovely experience.

The timings of the recorded audio were a bit off with the circuit of the train. Overall it was a nice experience to hear about the history of the city while getting a ride through it. Definitely recommended. Specially for those who find the slopes a bit challenging to walk.

I liked the explicit story-telling and the details about the history.
I encountered no issues with booking. On the contrary, due to lateness in bus times, I had to reschedule as I was late and requested (via mail) to move it to the next day. The team at sightseeing.lu replied within the least possible delay and ensured that my booking was postponed to the next day.

Lohnt sich definitiv um in einer Dreiviertelstunde viel von Luxembourg Stadt zu sehen. Es werden Kopfhörer gereicht, um sich die Geschichte der einzelnen Sehenswürdigkeiten, kindgerecht auf der eigenen Sprache erzählen zu lassen. Auch konnten wir durch die Tour kurzfristig dem Regen entkommen. Schön gemacht.

As Luxembourg resident I liked on the tour that it really goes through the most impressive streets of the old town.
The information are rather complete and understandable for everyone. They are not boring, nor childish.
I have a suggestion to add some small screens on the train cabins to show the people what the building looks like of you which you are speaking in the story. Most people do not know which side to turn the head and what they should look for. Especially when the advancement of the train is sometimes delayed with the story.
All in all a nice experience to be recommended.

I quite enjoyed the City Train tour through Luxembourg's Old Town. The relatively short (~40-50 minute) route provided an interesting historical introduction to the City, while still allowing me enough time to explore on my own afterward.
The train doesn't really stop along the way. There were one or two locations where you could get out, but then you'd have to wait half an hour for the next train to come by. (And you never know how full it might be.) So your view, and your opportunity to take photos, depends entirely on where you're sitting, if you've got others in the same row (i.e. affecting your ability to see out both sides of the train), and how quick you are with your camera.
There were some problems with the audio sync during the tour, and the cheap earphones made understanding the otherwise well-made audio guide difficult at times. I would recommend downloading the app and using its audio guide (which is virtually the same, and which also automatically syncs to your location), as this gives you some control (including rewinding and reading the transcript) and you can use your own (almost certainly higher quality) earphones.
That said, 10/10 would recommend — definitely worth the price and the time. I'd suggest doing the tour earlier in the day and earlier in your visit to the city, as it can inspire other activities for the rest of your stay in Luxembourg.

It was a very hot day. Its great because there are so many hills and with the train, you dont need to climb them. We were a bit disappointed it dint go through all of the pedestrian areas. The train mainly went on main roads.

Insgesamt ist die Tour schön und empfehlenswert. Was ich allerdings nicht verstehe ist, weshalb man die Sprache der Tour bei der Buchung auswählen soll. Im Zug bekommt man Kopfhörer und man kann die Sprache auswählen. Schade dabei war, dass bei uns ein Anschluß defekt war und man die Sprache nicht ändern konnte und man die Tour nur auf französisch hören konnte.
Ein weiterer Nachteil war, dass die Kopfhörer für die Kinder viel zu groß waren,diese hatten nach kurzer Zeit keine Lust mehr, diese an die Ohren zu halten.
Fazit, schöne Tour mit kleineren Mängeln.

Je kunt niet goed zitten, te weinig beenruimte.
Door de vele raamspijlen is het bijna onmogelijk leuke foto's te maken.
De uitleg in het Nederlands was absoluut niet te volgen, door de muziek die alles overstemt.

We thought we’d take the train tour for fun and it’s a good way to learn about the city. It wasn’t anything special, we did learn a few bits but I wouldn’t recommend taking this tour as you can easily walk it. The train was super slow and the audio guide was weird. Definitely wasn’t worth the money (€14.50), if I had only paid €7 then it would be a different story but for €14.50 it definitely isn’t worth it and is a rip off

I have not been given the audio guide in due time. Did 90% of the tour without it until the train stopped and the driver gave one. No refund, no excuse received. This is a waste of money. I planned other trips with sightseeing but won't do them.

The tour starts in a hilly street, not possible to reach with a tourist coach as it is crossed by a bridge of 3.50 m. I did the tour some years ago when the starting point was in the upper town and wasn't prepared for the difficult access to the new starting point. . I will not be able to include this tour in the future, which is very sad since it is a great way to explore the canyon and lower town.

Super trip and a great way to see and understand Luxembourg. Highly recommended. Google maps is a little bit off! The start is at a bus stop in the middle of the bridge, not at the end of the bridge.

It was a nice 45 minute ride with audio of the history of the country. The only downside was the Spanish audio was not working on that particular day. Booking was extremely easy online. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to see all of the sights along with the history. It was perfect as part of our day trip

This was a nice way to see older parts of Luxembourg. The audioguide was interesting. We had some trouble finding the place where the train leaves as both links to Google maps and the meeting point led to wrong places…

In our opinion the ride was a bit too expensive für what we’ve got. It should be a 45 minutes long ride, but our tour only took 35 minutes… and this for 14,50€ per person is quite too much. We enjoyed the ride while listening to the nice audio guide. We would not recommend the tour.

As for the pricing, it is actually the price we need to take into account given the fact that is a heavy weight vehicle, with a driver in the capital city. I could not attend this event. My kid was sick so i asked via mail to be canceled my reservation 1 day before but i never get a reply. So i could not have this experience.

The positives: it's a cute little bus train with a nice and interesting itinerary and an informative audio guide. I enjoyed the experience. BUT...
I had to use my computer to make the booking because the payment page would not load on my smartphone.
The bus departed at 13:16 instead of 13:00. I understand small delays can happen, but 16 minutes for a 40 minute journey seems excessive.
There is too little leg room. I am 172 cm and kept on hitting my knees. My brother is 194 cm and could not sit straight. The metal floor gets slippery when wet, and since there is nothing to hold on to you slide and hurt your knees when the bus stops abruptly, which it did frequently.
On a slopes the driver stopped the engine and excited the cabin to check on something (he walked around the vehicle). This was a big safety risk since there was no-one in the driver’s cabin and the vehicle was positioned on a slope. I felt unsafe at that moment.

The train was a wonderful way to see the most historical sites of the city. It was an efficient, low-cost guided tour, which helped my friends and I understand more about the history of Luxembourg. It was also super easy to book a ticket - we walked up to the QR code right next to the Casemates du Bock site and got on the train 10 minutes later. We had a great time!

Ich würde es empfehlen, die Audioführung passt sehr gut dazu und ist gut gemacht.
Allerdings arbeiten dort im Grund nicht mehr Amazon und Microsoft, sondern das Ministerium für Jeunesse. Klingt aber gut für Touris.
Sehr interessante Stadt und ich werde die VR-Tour auch noch machen

The headphone system was really poor, so any jostling (which is constant in this little train) makes for an awful screeching static noise in your headphones, so you can hear barely any of the audio the entire tour, which is sort of the whole point. There's also a destination along the way where they're supposed to let you off so you can explore and grab the next train, but they didn't even stop. Overall really disappointing, learned nothing, and didn't see anything you can't see by just wandering around yourself. Would not recommend.

Overrated and overpriced for the experience. Headphones and audio guides in English did not work, very uncomfortable in the noon heat with so many other people inside the carriage.. Although we took some beautiful pictures, we could not wait until the ride was over..

Nice and interesting tour though the lower parts of the city, audio through headset is good.
The booking system however is bad. We bought tickets online for 16:00. We arrived early and sat on a bench to watch the view. We saw that the train was boarding so we walked to the train to take a seat. However, the driver told us it was full and we had to wait for the next one at 17:00....
In the end we pushed ourselves in 1 bench with 6 people (3 kids) so we could join. Other people who also bought a ticket for the 16:00 bus couldn't join.
The booking system should not allow for more tickets to be booked than the number of seats!

The Rahm is a great point of view. We went back there to see it all! ;)

I live in Luxembourg so I was familiar with the places the train traveled through. I was thrilled there was this possibility to see these special areas of Luxembourg that can be arduous to visit on foot. The thing I didn't realize is that in places there are small streets that are "paved" with the small rocks that have been used through the centuries. These stones make for a bumpy ride and the windows in each car would rattle loudly which can make it difficult to hear the audio. I thought the audio was well organized and produced because it related a lot of historical information necessary to truly appreciate this area of the city. I still think the ride is a good value considering the route allowed the visitor to see the hidden side of Luxembourg City. All in all I would recommend it since I doubt there is anything that can be changed about the streets to alleviate the rattling....

The trip was fine but there was a problem with the english in the speaker and that meant we had not chance to learn what er saw. It ruined pretty much the idea of taking the trip.

J'avais déjà pris le petit train il y a 5 ans et le trajet était complétement different. Le trajet proposé est très beau, mais je pense que l'itinéraire pourrait explorer aussi un peu plus le centre ville. Car pour le prix, la durée de environ 30 minutes est un peu courte

The tour is stated to be 45 minutes long and the audio is timed to match it. Our tour, however, was rushed through in just over 30 minutes. As a consequence, the audio cut off early on multiple occasions so we did not get the full information on what we were supposed to be seeing. The seats on the train are very short and the leg room is negligible. I am only 5’7 and if I did not sit stock still straight up, my knees hit the front of the section I was in. Not worth the cost, especially when it is rushed and made somewhat useless.

The Petrusse Express is always supposed to take 45 min around the old town and not less (in any case). Malheureusement ce sont des choses qui peuvent arriver à n'importe quel moment et même si la sécurité des passagers est le plus important, la sécurité de notre conducteur est tout aussi important. It was a very nice experience the only problem was that at some point the audio was not in Spanish but was in English for us is not an issue as we are bilingual but for others not English speakers can create some discomfort.

The train ride was nice and got to see a lot of the unique areas. It’s a pretty expensive train ride for 45 minutes. We did the train ride so we could take advantage of the audio tour portion to learn more. The audio only worked about half the ride. It would cut out in mid sentence and play music for several minutes instead. This happened multiple times so we never got a clear understanding of the history.

The websites says it is a 45 min tour with 2 stops. So we accepted that we could get out the train two times and walk around and take an hour later the next one. But unfortunately there were no stops and the tour lasted only 30 minutes. This was a disappointment. The scenery however was great. But it was difficult to take pictures due to a bumpy ride.

It was easy to book, the train came on time and the tour took about 1 hour. I went with my toddler who seemed to enjoy it, I learned some interesting facts about the city.

Short and nice tour in the valley to discover Luxembourg City especially with my parents who are not that mobile and would get tired going ups and down on foot.
Downside: the sections from the audio guide were frequently stopped in order to for the next section to start (I assume to make sure it describe what we see but still a bit annoying)

Wir haben auf der Internetseite Luxembourg-city.com den angebenen Standpunkt mit Googlemaps gesucht und wurden nicht an den richtigen Ort geleitet. Wir sind lange umher gelaufen bis wir dir Abfahrtstelle des Zuges gefunden haben. Der angegebene Standpunkt auf luxembourg-city.com befindet sich etwa 150 m abseits der Haltestelle. Leider war nirgends ein Wegweiser oder ein Schild zu finden, das uns die Richtung angegeben hat. Der Zug war weg als wir die Haltestelle gefunden haben und wir waren dann sehr enttäuscht. Es ist leider gar nicht touristenfreundlich organisiert. Schade!

Hello, it was a great opportunity for us, as a family. My little boy got one year old on that day when we went on a ride with you. It was, after a couple of weeks, a sunny day. And as we moved to the country just in February, we had a chance to visit new places where we didn’t had a chance to go or walk.

My daughter likes riding the train (she’s 3) but the ride was really bumpy making it near impossible to take decent photos unless the train was stopped which was infrequent.
The route is also still short by ~15 minutes of the quoted time and I see other reviewers call that out—if it’s going to be this way for much longer they really should update the website. The disclaimer is insufficient.
I would have liked clearer opportunities to get out and enjoy an area before catching the next train.
The audio guide was fun and informative. I learned something new.
But for the price, probably won’t be doing it again.

We are little bit disappointed. We expected to make the 35/40-minute planned visit. But when we arrived at the departure, the driver tells us that the visit will only last 20 minutes. The reason ? Renovation works on certain points of the visit. Nothing was posted on the website so we had to pay the full price for a visit which only lasted half of the planned time. I find that a little bit dishonest. The least thing you can do would have been to update the website before.
In any case thank you for this visit, the city is beautiful and it is still a nice experience. We had a nice time although it passed a little fast. We'll come back.

Le chauffeur a été très sympathique. La bande son est très intéressante mais le trajet, quel ennui ! Un simple allé retour dans la vallée de la Pétrusse. Je pense qu’il y a plus de chose à voir à luxembourg

The tour was pleasant, although a bit slow; we'd appreciate a longer tour on historical sites.

I'd recommend this tour to tourists on a one-day stay who want to get a glimpse of the ancient Luxembourg city. For those who can stay more, or who have already seen a bit of it, I'd rather advise them to take the hop on-off bus.

I would definitely recommend this experience for everyone. Bookings was done online with no difficulty. Nice, relaxed atmosphere where you can see and experience the Grund (Luxembourg) in a different view and it was an eye opener to hear about the history, architecture and deep culture of Luxembourg. Even more curious now about history of Luxembourg. Kids enjoyed the Green train ride. Great experience. Thank you.
